R' Eliezer Papo's Chesed LeAlafim is a Kitzur of the Shulchan Aruch and commentaries on Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah that also includes some words of Mussar.
He writes a number of rules in his introduction:<ref>Chesed LeAlafim, Hakdama to both Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah</ref>
# Any Halacha which has been decided lechumra will be presented stam (unequivocally, without a "Yesh Omrim").
# Points subject to debate that are worth being stringent on especially when there is no monetary loss or for those who are more careful in their observance are written with the opening "Yesh Omrim" or "Yesh Osrim" in the plural."
# If the Halacha is in favor of the lenient position but there are great Poskim who prohibit the issue at hand, he introduces it with "Yesh Mi SheOmer" or "Yesh Mi SheOser" in the singular, so it's clear that this is a recommended stringency for those who are on that level and also implies that there is an acceptable lenient view.
# After summarizing the Shulchan Aruch and Be'er Heitev, he then adds in points from other Poskim and the appropriate citations.
